"Summit Candy" (Arabian/Pinto) and I have been at Justamere since 2000, when he was a mere 25 years old. Now a spunky 32 year old, he is retired and spends his days playing with his 'special friend' Churchhill, who is one third his age and also an Arabian.

Summit was my daughter's first horse 20 years ago, and we couldn't bear to part with him when she went to college, so "mother" had to learn to ride.

When Summit retired two years ago, I "adopted" Clearly Royal aka Opie, a Quarter Horse/Paint, now 12 years old. Opie is white as snow in winter, but a paint in summer when his black and white spots show through.

We take dressage lessons weekly with Twila, having shown training level in 2006, and are aiming for 1st Level in 2007. - Heidi
