Congratulations to Taylor Van Maele for taking First Place in the new Medal Class. Taylor, and Laura Kwasnik who took 2nd, are now qualified to ride in the September Year End Ride off. I hope to see more riders entering this class in July now that you've seen what it's all about...don't be shy, sign up for it at the next show!!
The Medal Class is basically an equitation class geared more towards the advanced/intermediate rider. It will be run directly after Class #2 and will consist of a course of 8 jumps (2'6 to 2'9) that will be posted the morning of the show. After all rides are completed the judge will call the top 4 riders back into the arena and make up a course 'on the spot'. The 4 riders will remain in the middle of the ring while each entrant completes the judge's course. The points from both rides will be combined to give a final placing For detailed information, please visit the Class Descriptions page.
The revised entry forms showing this new class can be found under the "Shows" tab to the left. It is listed as Class #26 but is run DIRECTLY AFTER CLASS #2.

I've received some beautiful ribbons for the Morgan Assoc. so if you have a Morgan and are a member, please let me know on your entry form. I'd love to be able to give these out to high scoring Morgan horse riders at the show.
Don't forget about our referral program going on this year. Refer up to three friends who have never been to one of our shows and you will receive up to 3 free classes!! Just add a note on your entry form and deduct the class fee from the total. It's a great way to make some money off those fuddy duddy friends who never want to go to a show with you LOL!!
Our next show is July 19th. The closing date for entries is always the Monday prior, which falls on July 13th.
The judges for the July show will be Lisa Patersack in the Hunt/Jump ring and Sue Ashley in the dressage arena.
